During this difficult time, people may be closer together virtually, but they are physically out of reach. That is why we value the opportunity to see our friends in person. In this portrait project, each photograph signifies an advancement in distance. These numbers mean the distance between me and my friends sitting at home in front of the computers, to the distance between me arriving at their doors and being face to face with them. It is also the closest we can get now.
